Gold stolen from house at Sanquelim

Christmas celebrations proved costly for a family from Housing Board, Sanquelim, when burglars broke into their house and stole gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
According to reports, on Mendes and his family went to Kerala on December 24 to celebrate Christmas.
On returning home on Tuesday, they were in for a rude surprise to find that burglars had entered their house through the terrace door and had decamped with the gold ornaments. Bicholim PI Harish Madkaikar is investigating the case.
