Members of the Gomantak Bandhari Samaj staged a one-day peaceful protest at Azad Maidan, calling for immediate justice and resolution of the community’s long-pending demands.
Holding placards and raising slogans such as “No more delays, justice for Bandhari Samaj,” the protesters urged the government to take prompt and decisive action. Community members expressed concern over what they described as prolonged inaction and appealed to the authorities to address their grievances without further delay.
The demonstration remained peaceful throughout the day, with participants emphasising their commitment to lawful and democratic means to seek justice and recognition for the Bandhari Samaj.
