Minister for Health Vishwajeet Rane said that the government is contemplating to provide free treatment to patients below the poverty line.
In this context he said Government run hospitals will soon be equipped with necessary medical equipments and other facilities to provide better healthcare to people.
Rane was speaking after inaugurating a medical camp organized by Directorate of Health Services at Nhaveli, Sankhali, recently.
Speaking further Rane said that Government is spending huge amount to improve healthcare facilities to the common man and divulged that after successful launching of life saving health initiative 108 ambulance services, the Government is making efforts to launch another dental treatment van and ambulance exclusively to treat breast cancer among women.
Vishwajeet Rane also handed over the key of an ambulance, donated by Sattari Yuva Morcha, to MLA Pratap Gawas.
MLA Pratap Gawas, Director of Health Services Dr Rajnanda Desai, Sarpanch Bharat Gawas also spoke on the occasion.
Dy Director Dr Dipak Kabadi and Dr Rajendra Sakhaldande were present.
