HONDA: After the incident of Pissurlem based firm discharging chemical water into a nullah came to light, Poriem MLA Dr Deviya Rane directed the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) team to inspect the site.
The inspection team visited the industrial estate and conducted the site inspection.

The squad which compiled the report consisted of Devesh Gholkar, Sherwin D’Silva (both junior environmental engineers), Luisa D’Silva, a junior laboratory assistant and Riya Gaude, a field assistant. Sarpanch Devanand Parab and panch Namdev Chari were present on the behalf of the Pissurlem panchayat.
