PANJIM: Goa Governor has given his assent to 16 bills moved earlier in the Goa assembly.
The Bills include The Goa Appropriation Bill 2013, The Goa Tax on Entry of Goods (amendment) Bill 2013, The Goa Tax on Infrastructure (1st amendment ) Bill 2013, The Goa Entertainment Tax (amendment) Bill 2013, The Goa Lokayukta (1st amendment) Bill 2013, The Goa Land Revenue Code (amendment) Bill 2013, The Indian Stamp (Goa amendment) Bill 2013, Goa Value Added Tax (7th amendment) Bill 2013, Goa Land (Prohibition on construction) (amendment) Bill 2013, Goa Buildings (lease, rent and eviction) Control amendment Bill 2013, The Goa Cess on Products and Substances Causing Pollution (green cess) Bill 2013, The Goa Non-biodegradable Garbage (control) second amendment Bill 2013, The Goa Motor Vehicles (taxation on passenger and goods) amendment Bill 2013, Goa Motor Vehicles Tax amendment bill and the Goa (Right of Citizens to time bound delivery of public service) Bill 2013.
