VASCO: Head Constable Santosh Bhatkar, attached to the Vasco Police Station, received the Chief Minister’s Police Gold Medal for excellence in service, at the hands of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, on the occasion of Goa Liberation Day on Monday

Bhatkar has been in service for 26 years and had worked at different police stations including Vasco, Panjim, Goa Reserve Police (GRP), Altinho and Airport Police Station.
Bhatkar has also been instrumental in detecting various crimes including murders, house breaking thefts and narcotics raids at various police stations in his career spanning 26 years.
