In a shocking incident, a head-on collision was reported at the junction opposite the electricity department, Powerhouse, Margao between a car and a bike. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported but the bike rider sustained severe injuries. Shockingly the ambulance failed to reach within twenty minutes, compelling the locals to take the injured hospital by themselves.
On Wednesday late at night, around 10.30 to 11 pm, an accident between a four-wheeler and a two-wheeler took place opposite the electricity department, Powerhouse, Margao. As per locals, both parties were speeding. Without being cautious at the junction, both vehicles collided with each other simultaneously, resulting into a disastrous accident. The bike rider skidded on the road along with his vehicle due to which he sustained severe injuries. Whereas, the car driver escaped unharmed.
Locals immediately called the ambulance, as the rider was severely injured. Surprisingly the ambulance failed to reach on time, propelling the locals to take the injured rider to the hospital by themselves. Soon after the locals left with the victim, Police reached on site in a span of twenty minutes and conducted an investigation.
