PANJIM: The Goa Property Expo 2013, the biggest property show in Goa concluded today. The expo received an overwhelming response with a footfall in excess of 8,000.
Organised by the Herald Group, the two-day fair held at Kala Academy, Campal was a grand success for the participants as well.
“We have already got a confirmed booking of around Rs 45 lakh. We received about 120 leads and six site visits in the last two days. We have 5 active calls which we are confident we will convert in the coming week,” said Kunal Kuwadekar, director, Green Acres. “Overall I am extremely pleased with the response we got at this fair. In value terms we should end up confirming at least about Rs 1.3 cr bookings,” he added.
Remus Group, an enterprise of the Mumbai-based Sumer Builders, had by far the most impressive stall at the show. They attracted 4 site visits for their upcoming Coexist project at Porvorim. “We have quite a few hot leads in the Rs 50-70 lakh range. We are quite confident we will have conversions in the next few days. We are among the few developers offering one-bedroom flats in Porvorim,” said Meghal Jain of Remus Group.
Sayyed Aslam of Civilco Engineers and Associates said, “In this industry, exposure to the target audience is everything. At this fair we have managed to get to our market. We have got very good leads that we can look to convert.”
The participants at the expo include Highland Construction Private Ltd; Sun Realty and Hospitality; Infinity Developers Pvt Ltd; Scholar Builders Pvt Ltd; Horizon Land Developments Pvt Ltd; Devashri Real Estate Developers; Gera Developments Pvt Ltd; Green Acres; Civilco Engineers & Associates; Naiknavare Construction Pvt Ltd; Kurade Builders; Bank Of Maharashtra; Canara Bank; Corporation Bank; Four Seasons Shelters and Vastu Consultants. Most participants at the expo have come because they want to showcase their upcoming projects which are at various stages of completion.
Satish Dessai of Naiknavare Constructions said, “We are a Pune-based company having projects in Goa. We were looking to make our presence felt in the local Goan market and we thought this exhibition allowed us to that.”
