MARGAO: It was high drama at the Margao Town Police Station and the constables in the absence of the officers who were on bandobast duty for the BJP President Amit Shah’s function, had a tough time controlling two groups discussing heatedly and abusing each other.
The arguments apparently started over a misunderstanding wherein one person sitting in a bar thought another person in the same bar was giving him threatening looks. Even as he went to ask the other person what the problem was, the other person started his bike and left the place.
Incensed with the behavior the other fellow followed the first person who went straight to the police station. There the person following thought a complaint was going to be lodged against him and he too decided to lodge a complaint.
Somehow they began arguing with each others, their friends and family members arrived at the police station and they too got involved in the barrage of words and after much brouhaha the police personnel managed to separate the two groups and they left the station just as the Police Inspector returned from the bandobast duty.
The two involved in the fight are reportedly Mithun and Tyson from Sinquetim, Navelim.
