PANJIM: The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) on Thursday clarified that a fake circular was being circulated in some WhatsApp groups stating that a holiday has been declared on Friday, July 7, due to heavy rains and red alert.
When contacted, Director of Higher Education Prasad Lolayekar said that the circular going around on social media is fake, and no such circular has been issued by the Directorate and urged the people not to pay heed to it.
