MARGAO: A major fire at Borda burnt down a house and several vehicles on Friday morning.
A cushion shop at Borda attached to a bungalow caught fire on Friday morning. Two two-wheelers, a car and a passenger vehicle were gutted in the fire.

It is learnt that sparks from some metal welding work fell on the house leading to the fire.
Earlier, the same shop had caught fire, but was contained. The occupants of the house escaped unhurt. It took four tenders to bring the fire under control.
