HOUSEMAID ALLEGES ASSAULT, HARASSMENT BY EMPLOYER IN MAPUSA

A domestic worker from Rajasthan has alleged that she was assaulted, harassed and intimidated at her former employer’s residence in Ektanagar, Mapusa, on September 13. In her complaint, the woman alleged that her former employer and three unidentified men were involved in the incident. She further claimed that her mobile phone was damaged and ₹10,000 in cash along with gold ornaments were taken from her belongings. She has submitted written complaints to the North Goa Superintendent of Police and Mapusa Police, seeking an FIR, examination of CCTV footage and action against those named.
