MAPUSA: An independent candidate contesting from the Aldona ZP constituency has accused his rivals of damaging his vehicle.
Freddy Fernandes has filed a complaint with Mapusa Police stating that the rear windscreen of his car, which was parked near his residence at Nachinola, was smashed by unknown persons. “I have been getting good support from the people in Aldona ZP constituency. It is for this reason that my opponents have damaged my car,” Fernandes told reporters. Mapusa Police has registered an offence and is investigating the case.
