Investment scam accused Sunita in Mumbaipolice custody

PANJIM: The MHB Colony Police Station, Mumbai, has taken custody of Sunita Rodrigues, ex-wife of the main accused Myron Rodrigues, involved in the Rs 135 crore cheating case.

She was arrested by the Crime Branch Goa on December 8, and was granted conditional bail on December 24. The MHB Colony Police Station, Mumbai Police, with the assistance of the Crime Branch, Goa Police, has taken Sunita into custody for her involvement in a high-profile investor cheating case.

Sunita was earlier arrested by the Crime Branch, Goa for her involvement in the FIR registered against her vide FIR No 04/23 u/s 406,420 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3&5 of GPID Act and was released on conditional bail by Principal District and Sessions Judge, Margao.

She was taken into custody for her involvement in MHB Colony FIR No 12/24 u/s 406,420 r/w 34 IPC wherein she has been named as an accused along with her husband Myron Rodrigues for cheating various victims to the tune of Rs 5.15 crore.

She was produced before JMFC Panjim and a 2-day transit warrant was obtained by the investigation Officer of MHB Colony Police Station and taken to Mumbai for investigations.
