Kazakh Dancer Performed Without Valid Visa at Goa Nightclub, Police Launch Probe

Goa Police have launched an investigation after a Kazakh dancer was found performing at a nightclub without the required business visa. The incident came to light after a video went viral on social media showing the dancer, identified as Kristina, on stage while electric firecrackers and flame effects were set off on the club’s rooftop.
According to officials, Kristina had applied for a business visa with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), but the application is still pending approval. Despite the lack of a sanctioned visa, she reportedly went ahead with the performance.
An FRRO officer confirmed the violation, stating that the dancer did not possess the necessary documentation for commercial performances in India. Police are now verifying the circumstances under which the event was held and whether the nightclub violated any additional safety or licensing norms.
Authorities have said further action will be taken after the inquiry is complete.
