MARGAO: Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has directed the Konkan Railway to prepare a long-term development plan, promising to approve expeditiously Konkan railway route electrification plan.
KRC Senior Manager, Public Relations, Baban Ghatge said the new railway minister reviewed the working of Konkan Railway after taking over the reigns and had a detailed meeting with KRC Chairman cum Managing Director B P Tayal.
He also reviewed the safety on the KR against the backdrop of recent accidents on the route.
