PANJIM: Goa is likely to receive light to moderate rain/ thundershowers in some parts in the next four days. However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday recorded temperatures of 32 degrees Celsius.
“Light to moderate rain /thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over Goa state during next five days,” the IMD weather forecast states.
The IMD weather forecast further reads that “Sankhali & Canacona recorded 1 cm rain. There was no large change in maximum temperature in Goa State. They were below normal in South Goa district and normal in North Goa district. The highest maximum temperature of 32 oC was recorded at Panjim and Mormugao.”
Meanwhile, the forecast for Panjim in the next 24 hours is that one or two spells of rain/thundershowers will occur with maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32-25 degrees Celsius, while in the next 48 hours the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius.Team Herald
