PANJIM: North Goa District and Sessions Court granted interim relief to former Mines and Geology Director Arvind Lolienkar following his anticipatory bail application in the illegal mining case. Lolienkar had filed for anticipatory bail on Friday, following summons from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is probing the multi-crore mining scam.
The court has fixed the anticipatory bail hearing on May 12, the day former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat’s anticipatory bail application will be heard by the same court.
