MARGAO: Margao Town Police have issued a look out notice for one Mohan Mehta who is accused of murdering his wife at their residence at Dongrim, Navelim.
According to the police, after murdering his wife Chandrakala Mehta, aged 61, the accused, an accountant by profession, has been absconding. Police have asked anyone who has any information about his whereabouts to contact them.
On a complaint filed by his daughter Aruna Salelkar, the police have booked the accused Mohan Mehta, aged 71, for murder.
Account of property dispute, the accused brutally assaulted his wife and killed her, police said.
