Maharashtra Authorities Demolish Illegal Structure at Home of Man Accused of Assaulting 180 Minors

Authorities in Maharashtra carried out a demolition drive at the residence of a man accused of sexually assaulting over 180 minors, bringing down незаконally constructed portions of his house in Amravati district.

The accused, Mohammad Ayaz, also known as Tanveer, a resident of Paratwada in Amravati district, faces multiple charges including sexual assault, harassment, and recording obscene videos involving minors.

Visuals from the site showed a JCB machine removing an iron staircase built outside the one-storey house to access the upper level. The operation was conducted by officials from the Achalpur Municipal Council, targeting what authorities described as an illegal structure on the property.

Pravin Tayade was present during the demolition to oversee the administrative action.

Officials said that a prior notice had been issued to the accused’s family regarding the encroachment. Meanwhile, a significant police presence was deployed outside the premises to maintain law and order during the operation.
