PONDA: A major landslide at Connem Priol, halted traffic on the Ponda-Panjim on Sunday. Huge portions of mud, boulders and trees rolled down on the highway.
Fire brigade personnel, police, and a JCB machine are on-site working to clear the road. As NH was blocked, traffic is being diverted via GEC Farmagudi and Conem Priol internal roads.

Meanwhile, roads at Kavlem, Daag were flooded due to flooding of Ponda main nullah causing hardship to locals. The flood water was flowing over Patto Road in front of Kavlem Shantadurga temple. It was submerged due to flooding of the nullah after heavy rains.
