BICHOLIM: In an unusual case, a person from Vathadev was bitten by a snake when he had gone to answer nature’s call along the bank of an overflowing Bicholim river.
The incident occurred in on Saturday morning. Due to heavy rainfall, the Bicholim river was overflowing and along with the flow even some snakes had been washed.
On Saturday, as usual a person from Vathadev went to answer nature’s call by the banks of the river. Soon a large snake bit him and before he could realise it, the snake that bit him again. The residents immediately shifted him to PHC Bicholim where he is undergoing treatment. His is said to be out of danger.
