Mangalsutra snatched

An unknown person snatched a mangalsutra worth Rs 1.20 lakh at Calangute on Friday morning.
According to Calangute police, the incident occurred at about 7.55 am near Calangute Association when Babita Parulekar (33) of Ummta Vaddo-Calangute had gone to drop her child to the school bus.
Police further informed that an unknown person on a motorcycle, wearing a blue raincoat, snatched her magalsutra, weighing 56 gms, worth Rs 1.20 lakh and fled away.
Parulekar later lodged a complaint with Calangute police and PSI Sherif Jacques is investigating the case.
