The mangrove walking park located near the Central Library at Patto has been abandoned and is currently in a state of severe neglect, raising concerns over the wastage of public infrastructure and missed opportunities for environmental education.
With access roads blocked and all entry and exit points closed, the park remains completely deserted, resulting in zero footfall. The situation has effectively defeated the very purpose for which the mangrove park was developed — to promote public recreation, nature appreciation and environmental awareness.
