MAPUSA: Mapusa Municipality on Saturday began demolition of an old building structure located next to old municipal building which was in depilated condition and in danger zone. This building was owned by the municipality and was given to the Red Cross to function.
“We have taken up demolition of the building since it was old and in a dangerous zone. Also we will be conducting surveys of all such buildings in the Mapusa city which are owned by the municipality and are in dangerous zone and unsafe”, Chairperson Shubhangi Vaigankar said.
