Mapusa Police have registered a case following a complaint by a resident of Khalapwado in Canca, who alleged that he was verbally abused, physically attacked, threatened, and had his scooter damaged during a personal dispute on March 21.
According to the complaint, the incident took place near a local gym in the Canca area, where the accused allegedly hurled abuses before attacking the victim with a stone. The complainant further claimed that he was issued threats during the altercation, escalating the seriousness of the confrontation.
In addition to the assault, the accused is also alleged to have damaged the victim’s scooter, adding to the charges in the case.
Police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are working to identify and take action against those involved. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
