PANJIM: Minister for Art and Culture Shri Govind Gaude
flagged off 108 Ambulance service for the people of Khandola and its
surrounding areas at a function held at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Betki
Khandola in Priol today.
Dr. Sanjeev Dalvi, Director of Directorate of Health
Services, Dr. Jose D’sa, Deputy Director (Public Health), Dr. Ugam Tari,Acting
Health Officer, (PHC) Betki-Khandola, Shri Dilip Naik, Sarpanch of Khandola
Panchayat and other Panch members were present on the occasion.
After flag off the Minister along with the Director and Deputy
Director inspected the emergency and safety measures in the ambulance.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister
expressed his happiness over the launch of 108 Ambulance service from Primary
Health Centre Betki Khandola in Priol and said that this is the most advanced
ambulance provided to the people which will provide service round the clock. He
further hoped that this endeavour of the Government will provide better health
care facilities to the people and further added saying that this service will
benefit the people immensely
