A resident of Khadpa Wada, Cunchelim, who had been reported missing, was found hanging from a tree at Shelpe, Cunchelim, opposite the garbage treatment plant. The discovery was made by locals, who immediately informed the Mapusa Police.
PSI Yashwant Mandrekar and PSI Mangesh Palni, along with other police personnel, reached the site without delay. The body has since been shifted to the District Hospital in Mapusa for further examination.
