Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) chairperson Girish Borker has hit back at an activist over allegations concerning the Vasco fish market, strongly dismissing the claims and questioning the activist’s credibility.
Reacting to the allegations, Borker termed the activist as “Alni Pej” and said that the charges being levelled were baseless and misleading. He maintained that the MMC has been working to improve facilities and ensure proper management at the Vasco fish market.

Borker further asserted that no irregularities had been carried out and that the council remains committed to transparency and public welfare. He also stated that the activist should verify facts before making such allegations.
