MARGAO: Margao Municipal Council Chairperson Lyndon Pereira on Tuesday inspected the Gandhi Market to see for himself the condition of the market and what works need to be undertaken.
He was accompanied by Councillor Ronita Ajgaonkar and her father Rajendra Ajgaonkar.
Rajendra showed the cross drains which do not have slabs and also the roads which are in a bad condition. It is be pertinent to note that recently patchwork on the road was undertaken in the market at the behest of Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar.
Lyndon admitted that the cross drains need slabs and the road has to be repaired. He assured to do the needful.
