Monsoon Assembly session to start from July 27

PANJIM: In view of COVID pandemic, the monsoon session of the Goa Legislative Assembly has been curtailed to two weeks, beginning from July 27. 

Speaker Rajesh Patnekar informed that on Tuesday he called on Governor Satya Pal Malik. It was a courtesy visit.

Speaking to the media persons after the meeting, Patnekar said that the monsoon session has been curtailed to two weeks due to COVID pandemic, as against its annual trend of three weeks.  

He said that the Business Advisory Committee, which will meet shortly, will decide the Business of the House. The five-day Budget session of the State Assembly was held in February.
