MARGAO: One Kurshid Khan, 38, resident of Motidongor, Margao lost his life when Suzuki motorcycle GA-08-J-8169 he was riding on collided head on against a Kerala registered truck KA-25-C-0540 near Nalanda apartments, Rawanfond, Margao.
According to Margao PSI Melson Colaco the accident occurred on February 20 at around 2 pm when the deceased Khan was proceeding to Rawanfond and the truck was coming from opposite direction collided. Khan, who suffered head injuries, died on the spot. It may be noted that on count of some ongoing works lane on one side of road is closed along the starch as result the traffic moves only on single lane of the road.
An offence of rash and negligent driving causing death has been registered against the truck driver and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Colaco.
