MARGAO: The Union Minister of State (MoS) for Shipping, Shripad Naik batted for the implementation of the railway double-tracking project in Goa and asserted that it will help boost business activity in the State.
“No, the double-tracking project is not for coal. It is for the benefit of not just Goa but the country also. People should understand this,” said Naik.
Earlier in the day, Goa Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral also batted for the double-tracking project but he was speaking about the proposed Konkan Railway double-tracking project.
