He also demanded that all works awarded to Luis Berger, including Mopa airport, be probed by the CBI.
“I have given a notice under Rule 193 to the Lok Sabha Speaker for a discussion on the issue of bribe paid by Louis Berger in the JICA project. During the discussion, we will also demand that all projects/works tendered to and/or executed by Louis Berger be investigated by the CBI,” said Sawaikar.
Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu listed Goa as one of the States where the BJP were had sent notices that Congress was involved in corruption. Parsekar had also stated that Naidu had asked him for regular updates on the JICA scandal.
