New Zuari bridge and 14 km stretch from Bambolim to Verna will be open by November: Patil

The entire span of the New Zuari bridge could be open for motorists between Verna and Bambolim by November, Deogonda Patil, Deputy Project Manager Dilip Buildcon Limited disclosed to the media on Thursday. The second last segment is being hoisted Thursday and the closure segment will be added on 30th August which will join both ends of the bridge.

It will take another two months for crash barrier and load testing and then the bridge will be thrown open to traffic including heavy vehicles, he said.
