PANJIM: The Revolutionary Goans, a non-political and non government organization, has launched Green Goa Initiative, wherein it has appealed to political parties, religious institutions, schools and colleges to come together to keep Goa green.
Addressing press conference on Saturday, Revolutionary Goans member Manoj Parab said that under Green Goa initiative, various projects like tree plantation, awareness on water harvesting and solar power, would be undertaken throughout the State.
“We appeal all political parties, NGOs, schools, colleges, and religious institutions to join hands and keeping our beautiful State clean and green. Let us no always depend on government or blame government,” Parab said adding Revolutionary Goans is ready to work with government departments like PWD, WRD and Power to promote and create awareness about their schemes.
