MAPUSA: The Mapusa police are still clueless as to why Customs Officer Vivekanand alias Vivek Naik committed suicide.
According to sources, his body was found in a closed room located few meters away from his house at Ansabhat in Mapusa.
Sources said that he had left behind five letters addressed to his family, friend and assistant commissioner of custom.
Police sources further informed that they have now asked for phone call records of Naik for a possible clue to his suicide.
Sources also said that before committing suicide, Naik was under tension for many days, whose reason is yet to be identified.
