MARGAO: Stating that no re-entry will be given to the 10-defectors, South Goa Member of Parliament Francisco Sardinha on Wednesday said there will be no alliance with any political parties in Goa, and Congress will go all alone in the upcoming elections.
Addressing the media persons at Margao he also said Congress will surely win at least 21 seats and will form the next government in Goa. He further stated that Congress is the only option to get rid of the BJP government.

“Those 10 defectors had joined the BJP for their self-interest. They have cheated the voters. On the other hand the BJP too had formed the government by cheating the people of Goa”, Sardinha alleged.
He said that the people of Goa need to give the Congress a chance to form the government again, as the party has done lots of development work for the State. However, BJP borrowed the MLAs in order to form the government, and hence people of Goa should keep away both BJP and MLAs who had joined them.
He questioned as to why the BJP is announcing the schemes to the people of Goa, when they failed to do so at the time people were in need.
Sardinha further urged the PM Narendra Modi to get recognition of the COVID vaccines developed by the Indian scientist from the World Health Organization (WHO).
