VASCO: Five panchas of Chicalim panchayat have moved a no-confidence motion against the Deputy Sarpanch Hemant Fadte citing that he failed to take them into confidence. The no-confidence motion is singed by Sebastiao Pereira, Prajyoti Kudalkar, Nilima Naik, Kamla Prasad Yadav and Anita Vaz. The no-trust application was submitted to the Block Development Officer on Wednesday. Interestingly, the no-confidence motion has been moved barely few days after a new member was elected to the body from ward no 1.
It is also expected that in the days to come, a no confidence motion would be moved against Sarpanch Rubina Rodrigues.
