PANJIM: As nominations for Taleigao North Goa Zilla Panchayat constituency began on Monday, Inacio Joao Paul Pereira filed his nomination before the Deputy Collector-cum-Returning Officer.
Pereira was accompanied by Minister and Taleigao MLA Jennifer Monserrate and his supporters at the time of filing his nomination papers.
Panchayat Department has fixed August 4 as the date for holding Taleigao Zilla Panchayat seat.
