VASCO: Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida on Thursday urged the public to obey the traffic rules strictly to avoid accidents.
A presentation on the “Road Safety Month” awareness was held at Kadamba Bus Stand, here, in presence of Vasco Traffic Cell staff.

During the awareness programme, which will conclude on February 17, the Traffic Police will maintain a strict vigil on the people whether they are following the traffic rules or not.
Speaking to media persons, Vasco Traffic Cell In-charge PI Sudesh Narvekar stated that till February 17, safety month will be observed.
He mentioned that he has given a power point presentation to the KTC staff including drivers, conductors and others on road safety and its relevance to avoid accidents.
The MLA said that the Kadamba Transport Corporation staffers were given informative power point presentation on the road safety month.
Almeida opined that the road safety rules are crucial for safe driving and safety of the people on the road.
