Oil washes ashore Mandrem beach

The menace of oil washed ashore has once again afflicted pristine beaches in Goa after the entire stretch of Mandrem beach was covered in black oil on Sunday. 

Locals suspect that it may have been boats that emptied their waste into the sea or industries that released toxic waste into water bodies.
