MARGAO (HR): The Cuncolim police arrested one Yeshwant Vengurlekar for allegedly outraging the modesty of a 32-year-old woman at Betul on Thursday.
PSI Prasanna Bhagat informed that the accused was later released on bail.
He said the accused trespassed into the house of the victim and abused her, besides assaulting her husband. The accused is alleged to have outraged her modesty while leaving the house and threatened the family with dire consequences.
The police are investigating.
