MARGAO, JUNE 24 (HR) — The Margao police on Wednesday arrested a person in connection with the alleged assault on two municipal workers at the station road here this morning.
Melvyn Rosario was arrested under Section 353 of the IPC. The incident allegedly occurred over an altercation on the disposal of garbage on the station road.
The police acted on a complaint by Suresh Zamune stating that he and A Haziran were assaulted by the accused.
The police are investigating.
