Dr Sabha (a BE, MBA & PhD), a technocrat turned educationist, is the Founder Chairman of the Institution and under his dynamic leadership, four colleges namely Brindavan College, Brindavan College (MBA & MCA), Brindavan College of Engineering and Brindavan Indp. PU College have registered excellent multi faceted growth.
Over 2200 scholars from 46 overseas countries including students from 22 overseas countries sponsored by GOI through ICCR, New Delhi with scholarships to study various UG and PG degree programs in the college. This institution follows learner centered teaching methodology and thus due emphasis prevails for students to evolve and make best use of the academic, extra academic/co-curricular, cultural and sports domains. Key support to students is rendered by means of well set principles of discipline and administration system.
The strong and sound infrastructure in terms of adequate library, classrooms, Laboratories, seminar hall, indoor/outdoor sports facilities, canteen and hostel services helps the students in their learning process. Importance is laid on practical learning approach for all students, which is met via complementing classroom lectures, tutorials, lab sessions with industrial/institutional visits, organisation of guest Lectures by experts from industries/institutes, industrial/research training assistance for post graduate students. Scholars are also encouraged to participate and present their training/research work in national/state level conferences, symposia etc.
They are provided with ample opportunities to enhance their personalities by organising various co-curricular in terms of literary presentations, exhibitions, College magazine and extra-curricular activities via college fests, food fest, NSS, cultural shows etc. round the academic year at intra and inter-collegiate levels.
With all these efforts, Brindavan College has been registering excellent results every year and PG departments of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Applied Genetics have been securing many distinctions in University examinations. PG students are registering progression by securing PhD admissions through DBT-JRF, Univ entrance exams etc. With appreciable placements for students in companies and industries of national/international repute and many entrepreneurs being churned out, the institution feels high with pride and satisfaction, and continues to stand for excellence in higher education.
