Opposition storms well of the House over release of protestors

The opposition created uproar in the Goa Legislative Assembly on Thursday after several MLAs moved towards the well of the House, demanding the immediate release of protestors and fulfilment of demands raised by Chimbel residents. The protest disrupted proceedings as members insisted the government respond to concerns linked to local issues. Marshals were seen intervening to prevent further escalation. Opposition leaders accused the government of ignoring public grievances, while the treasury benches urged calm and asked members to return to their seats so the House could function smoothly.
