MARGAO: Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardessai on Saturday launched the work of laying parallel water pipelines in Fatorda constituency.
On the occasion, he said that with the four works undertaken, now practically entire constituency will have parallel water pipelines which would stop road cutting in future to give water connections.
He said that all major roads in Fatorda constituency will have parallel water pipelines on both sides of the road so that there will be no need to cut the road to give any new connection. The laying of parallel pipelines on four roads is tendered for Rs 1.5 crore.
The roads that will have parallel water pipelines are Bolepand to Agalle, Bolepand to Ambaji and Ravindra Bhavan to Arlem.
