MAPUSA: The Mapusa police booked Rahul Meghanath Pole, 22, a resident of Aldona, for rash and negligent driving. According to a complaint filed by ASI Ajay Gaonkar on behalf of the State, the youth rode his motorcycle in rash manner in Nachinola and collided with a pedestrian, Manuel R N Gomes, 38. Gomes, a resident of Moira, sustained grievous injuries. Pole has been booked under Sections 279,338 of the IPC.
