Pilgrims experience aura of the sacred, at Exposition of St Francis Xavier

All the pilgrims are excited to visit Old Goa ahead of the Feast of St Francis Xavier on 3rd December, to venerate their most revered saint

OLD GOA: Pilgrims who have come from India and Goa are having a good experience at the Exposition of St Francis Xavier. Besides having a glimpse of the sacred, experiencing the aura of St Francis Xavier and receiving favours through Saint, they say the arrangements for the Exposition this time have been very good right from the parking, sanitation and the queue system. They say that though they have to wait in queue for a long time, it is part of the pilgrimage to the feet of the Saint.

Pilgrim Noela D’Souza who has come for the exposition with her family, says they are from Karwar and they visit not only the Exposition or the Feast but the come to Goa often to venerate St Francis Xavier. They had prayed for and received favours from St Francis Xavier, she said.

Blossom Pereira, from Borim said she was originally from Azossim from where they used to come walking to Old Goa. She is now married in Borim and said the arrangement were very good and for the first time she was able to see the sacred remains of St Francis Xavier properly. Talia said she is attending the feast after two years, because she has come from abroad.

Vanessa and Ashley said it was a good experience and they are happy that the arrangements were good and people from India and all over the world are able to make it to the exposition. They wished everyone a happy feast and prayed that St Francis Xavier may guide us.
