Local residents expressed their frustration, and said they faced the consequences immediately, with severe water shortage throughout the day. They called for better coordination between government departments to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

Viraj Sapre, a local resident, highlighted that just a month ago, the electricity pole, which was obstructing traffic in the middle of the road, was shifted to the other side. However, it has now come to light that the pole was installed directly above the water line, leading to the rupture of the pipeline. Sapre stressed the importance of coordination between the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Electricity Department to avoid such mishaps.
